Well, as all of u know, something GREAT happened yesterday right? but sorry i didnt have the time and energy to blog.. yup..
So the choir once again proved its worth by getting a GOLD with HONOURS at syf.. and we were screaming our lungs out when the results were out.. apparently, we were the only choir which got a GWH in the morning session. There was a choir which got a gold. Many others got silver and bronze.. what to do? they really sang that standard. And there was a choir which got COP! haha! cannot remember the name of the school already.. too excited. However, mr kwei wasnt too happy with our performance and he said that we undersang, esp the sops... haiz. dont know what happen also. Anyway, i know that i've sang my best!
So in the morning, i woke up feeling excited.. but in the morning, i couldnt really sing that well. maybe because of fear. It was like that for quite a few ppl. Well, after practising for abt 1h, we did some exercises conducted by mr kwei.. after that i felt much better. Maybe its because my body was warmed up. I feasted on stepsils also, provided by kenny and philip. However, there was still a feeling of tension between the members.
In the bus, it was unusually quiet. Everybody was just staring straight ahead. There wasnt any noise like the normal saturdays. The only noise that could be heard was the sooshing around from guo wei.. But it was being shut uped by kenny.. guess he was just nervous. When we reach conference hall, the atmosphere was even tenser. we went into the practice room and sang the 3 songs once through. well, mr kwei said that we were quite good..
In less than 10 min, we were fussed to wait outside the stage already. To think that i thought we were have to watch the other choirs first. Well, everybody was feeling very nervous and it was our time to perform! Sunset was quite bad i think, i couldnt feel the song and so did the other members.. Ronde was quite nice, but according to guo wei, there were ppl sticking out. I that i knew was that the sops were on the verge of rushing and then mr kwei slowed us down again, luk luk was a nice dong, until the sop 2s starting rushing and then everything went bersak.. the rest of the songs were then very fast.... and soon. everything ended!
While watching the choirs performing after us, they were so horrible that we starting gossiping and laughing. ha! then it was the results....
After everything ended, the journey back to school was back to the usual noise level, singing out loud and shouting. went we went back to school, we went into the auditorium quietly to take our bags as EL were practising. Then i went for lunch with a few frens at j8.. they wanted to wanted to watch ms c 2. but i didnt want to so they left me out.. *sob sob*. After lunch, guo wei and i walked around as we were the only ones who didnt watch the movie. Then we went home at about 4 30. When i reached home, i bathe and went to pig out. was so damn tired after a long and eventful day..
Since choir has already 'glorify' the school, i hope that all the other perfroming groups can do the same. All the best for your coming syf! God Bless!
