Did a really great deal of things yesterday.. was really busy and was out the whole day. I was out from 12 pm to 11pm.. haha.
The main purpose of yesterday's 'outing' was to celebrate my mum's birthday!! Happy Birthday to her! ;) Well, we spent the whole day shopping in town. There was never-ending flow of shops to shop around. we went to places like zara, topshop, topman and many more.. Went to eat at hard rock cafe, first time eating there though.. the food was considerably ok.
Although something unpleasent happened during the course of the day, due to the birthday cake (silly right?), everthing was settled within an hour. And everything became as bubbly as ever.
In the evening, after walking for what seems like a hundred hours, we decided to catch a movie. And we decided on Batman Begins. It was quite exciting and nerve chilling i would say.. you definitely wouldnt fall asleep in the cinema no matter how tires you are (i was!). There was a deep and nice plot, the action part was present (a lil' to much that i felt it was violent), and there was a lil' twinge of humor. Overall, the show was quite nice except for the violent part, and it was a lil' bit too long, 2.5 h, could have omit some of the boring parts (there were a few)..
The show ended at 9 plus and we went back to bishan to have our long-awaited dinner as most of the eatery in town were closed. We ate at mos, there we brought out the birthday brownie (supposedly cake) and celebrated my mum's birthday there. We sang a birtjhday song to her(softly of coz) and she was made to blow out the candle.. haha. We filled our stomachs also with rice burgers, fries, and milk tea! =) yum yum.
All of us were glad to go home (who wouldnt after a long and tiring day). When we got home, we realised we've missed our weekly dose of Eye for a Guy, plus it was the final yesterday?!?. I tried calling many of my frens to find out the results and alas, i found out from daryl that wolfgang won. *sob* how could he have won?! My whole family were expecting howard. It wa such a disappointment, and i think i must agree with my sis for saying that denise keller is blind out of anger.. Later on, i found out from my sis fren that denise didnt choose howard coz she thought that he was very fairytale like and she wanted someone who was more down-to-earth.. stupid gal! Would you rather choose a guy who is fairytale like or a guy who is mysterious? haiz..
i slept right into the afternoon today. being pigish again.. Anyway the holidays are coming to an end soo, enjoy it while you can!
