does anyone even read this boring blog of mine? i dont think so.. and yet i'm still wasting time in front of my com blogging, when i could've done something more constructive like watching tv or sleeping. err whatever.
so i got back my results. and yay i failed only 2 subjects this term. one of which is a damn 49!! and the other is a 43. not too bad huh? considering the fact that i failed like 3 subjects last term with only 30 and 40 plus marks.. My goal for next term is to pass everything and to get As and Bs for those already passed subjects. Think it can be done? i've have to work extra triply hard. you know, just when my math saw the light, my chem fell into darkness.. its so depressing isn't it? well i guess thats the poor life of a student like me. and that i have to suffer, oh wells.
Teachers' Day celebration was such a blast. but the preparation and reheasals were dead tiring.. yea so anyway the celebration was so awesome cos of my ever-so-nice acting. (bows waves and smiles shamelessly). yea it was my first time acting in front of the whole school and i was like really nervous. but i guess i pulled it off pretty nicely (oh blame the mike for not working properly). well everyone did. i just love my emotions during the skit. its just that maybe i'll have to improve on my stage presence and my position, cos my coughhottcough butt kept facing the audience. haha. But after the celebration, many teachers came to praise me for my marvellous acting and i was like so honoured. ahh. i just love mrs tang when she told me that i was a born actor and that i didnt even show a tinge of nervourness when i was actually super nervous.. ok i must stop being self shameless and indulging..
and i just simply thrilled by my presents for my wonderful teachers. i gave all the female teachers except ms tan HAND-MADE earrings cos she said her ear hole had closed.. so i made her a sweet flower necklace instead. it was all so pretty. well i hope all the teachers really liked my presents.. mine seem to be the only one that was hand-made.. haha. i gave the male teachers chocolates cos i couldnt think of other stuff to buy or to make for them. and i typed a sweet little note for every teacher.. aww aint i appreciative of my teachers??
the hols are coming really really really soon. (it already started for me) and i plan to use the time to catch on my studies and rejuvenate myself at the same time. oh i mist plan my schedule well manns.
i went on a a literature and cultural heritage tour today. with mommy of course. its been a long time since we had mother-and-son bonding. yea so today we went to my skin clinic and then i went for a new hairstyle. then we went to bras besah complex (is that the shopping centre's name) and went to those small indian bookshop (the shop owners are indian, they dont sell indian books) yea and popular. it was actually to search for my lit novel "Joy Luck Club" but in the end i was enthralled by the various short stories like "To Kill a Mockingbird" and "Animal Farm" and went in search for them as i havent read them yet *yea slap me now*. This also brought back memories for mommy as she didnt lit when she was in sec sch also we began searching for the books in those old slump of books. found them eventually but decided against it as many of them were old secondhand and the price wasnt that cheap. tried national library which was just next door but apparently they didnt have any on loan.. what a lousy library.. so i ended up buyingjoy luck from popular, 3 archie comics from the indian bookshop and borrowed a charmed from the library.
Then we walked to Arab Street which was just abt 2 busstops away and began exploring kampong glam for ratten pinic baskets.. so we passed by many fabrics silk cottons satin etc shops selling those beatiful sari, shawls, scarfs and dresses and what have you. they were just GORGEOUS, MAGNIFICENT.. they just had this intricate design that made them so GLAM (ok i ran out of words).. you must really see them for yourself.. after searching far and wide for baskets, we found a few shops but decided against it cos of the costly price.. went to ya kun for high tea and back to bishan to pick up our car and to fetch sis.
WHAT A DAY I HAD.
i just forgot what i wanted to say.
oh and get Christina Aguilera's "BACK TO BASICS". its really nice and its worth it. its totally different from STRIPPED. yea and it really showed off her vocal range style and everything and it protrayed as a change and married classy lady. yea so get it now! (i borrowed from ke though).
it had been such a long time since i had such a long post. and now my poor and tried fingers need a break. adios everyone!
And to all my Wonderful, Nice, Caring, Sweet, Adorable, Loving and Dedicated teachers: HAVE A VERY HAPPY TEACHERS' DAY!! GOS BLESS YOU ALWAYS!!! :)
