hey everyone! Happy CHINESE New Year!!! :) and may i emphasise (xcuse spelling pls) the CHINESE. yes that's when we all get oursleves tired with the hustle and bustle of visitng relatives, get ourselves stuffed with goodies, and the climax get the ang pows!!!

I've been like really really busy and tired out this cny. really. cny had never been so hectic for my family. starting from first day, we have been going everywhere the whole day and there seems to be never ending houses and relatives to visit. its like there's always programme at every moment of the day. finally today's the last day and all the friends have just left and we'll have the evening to ourselves. phew..

An overview of my eventful CNY

DAY 1: woke up at 7, went to church. Went home to prepare, drove to ah ma's house at 12. At 3, went to great-grandmother's house. At 4 30, left for popo's house and stayed till nine plus. went home and helped mum cooked for next day's visitation, opened ang pows. FINALLY PLONKED ON MY BED AT 3 am.

DAY 2: woke up at 8 30am. Renzie and family came over at 9 30 until abt 11 plus. and instead of following my family to visit my pastors, i stayed home cos i was simply too tired. and i slept and slept like a log. My family came home at 5 plus and woke me up to help prepare as my aunties uncles and cousins are coming over at 7. They came and i had quite a fun time. they left at 10 plus and we packed up and finished everything at 12. studied and surfed net for abt 1h plus and PLONKED ON MY BED AT 2am.

DAY 3: woke up at 8 again. visited renzie and family and came home at 11 plus to prepare for arrival of my and whore's friends, mum's ex-students at 1. they came slowly (one by one) yes some really took a long time to come. the latest came at 3. (hor gab?) and len and gab were the last to left at 5 30. went for teh with len before returning home at 6 30. packed up mopped fllor and tah dah - im here blogging.

oh daryl's back from HK. he just msged me. poor him, is a singaporean but cant get to expereince the spore' atmosphere of CNY. but lucky him, get to go overseas every CNY where we have to go around visiting relatives, enduring the hot and humid weather.

hmm actually come to think of it, my CNY is not really that hectic, as compared to some of my pals. oh wells. but here's my conclusion : CNY IS SUCH A CHORE!!! #@^%^*&$&*%# maybe except for the ang pows and goodies. but it seems like as i grow older, i get less excited about the money stuff and tend to tire myself out easily. oh yes im ageing. haha

right now, i so looking to a nice simple RELAXED dinner with my family (dad says he's gonna bring us out. Yes!). but before that, i better go bathe soon cos i smell replusive. im the rubbish dump's good friend. and then after dinner, its back to studying for tmr's vocab test and try to rush out homework left untouched for the last few days (i doubt i will even touch them). oh wells i need that precious i mark for prelim 1. much more the $70 topman voucher!!!

oh wells. Happy CNY and mug real hard ppl. and i mean REAL HARD!! prelim 1 is like next week !!! i better see an improvement in my results if not there go my wrists. haha just joking.
