so the chinese Os are finally over!! after much awaited anticipation. i did gong han and bao zhang bao dao. didnt do so well for my bao zhang though. kinda rushed through it due to time constraint. couldnt really organise my thoughts properly and translate my thoughts into chinese. so ended up beating around the bush. guess it could be partly due to the unusual eerie killer silence in the hall and the tense atmosphere that made it so nerve wrecking. oh wells i hope paper 2 would pull me up cos i thought it was quite easy. (i scored 9/10 for my close passage when normally i'll score 2/10). yeah so that's how easy O Level is. but i musnt get too big headed or anything but just to have faith in God and myself, hope for the best and put in upmost effort for paper 3 in July!!
and today was english prelim oral. (stressful huh? having oral one day after chinese Os). yeah i think i did pretty well (or at least i hope). the only mistake i made was in the reading. i pronounced "local youth club" as "yocal youf club". i think i was too nervous and couldnt articulate the words in time. so i kinda stumbled but managed to carry on. for the picture discusion and conversation, i kept going on and on and making sure that the examiners had nothing to prompt. so in the end i'd only one prompt from them and many many agreeing nods and comforting smiles :)
oh yeah and i was so dumb to actually come at 7 45 am only to find out that shift for the oral was at 10 45 am! i woke up at like 6 30 when i could've woken up at 9 instead. haha so i waited for len and then we went for breakfast at macs. and then to daryl's playground. long time since we've been there man. so i had more time to warm up more vocals and get myself mentally prepared for the oral exam. so it wasnt such a bad idea to wake up earlier afterall :)
after these 2 stressful days, my spirits lifted. finally i felt carefree! . went to town in the afternoon and i went shopping! or rather prepared myself for shopping in malaysia. couldnt really do much shopping as i havent been training my stamina due to studies and exams. nvm at least today was good training and i enjoyed myself. it has indeed been such a long time i'd shopped so carefreely without worrying about my studies.
in malaysia i'll be from this thu to sun. going to cameron highlands followed by KL to shop! gosh i cant wait man. and we're leaving at 5am on thu. how exciting is that??
make use of the holidays to relax, rejuvenate yourselves. but make sure you mug hard too! use this chance to catch up on your schoolwork or start revising if you havent already done so. the Os are in 4 months time! gosh how time really flies.
